According to witness who survived this fateful robbery, the car was travelling at 160km/hr and it required a trained sniper to shoot the driver right up on the forehead at that speed. Discussing that further, the seen of that fateful robbery was a few km away from Luena Baracks and a potential supplier of such skillful shooting.
This sends alot of masseges to our leadership and commanders whereby trained soldiers are now involved in act of robbery. There must be something wrong with our barracks army in general. Apart from sending the soldiers involved to jail, more must be done to stop the scourge by engaging soldiers to why they involve themselves to such act. This is not the only robbery soldiers are involved in.

The Central Bank (Bank of Zambia) should regulate Cash In Transit security. At the moment individual commercial banks employ their whims on modalities of movement of cash. Most banks are plain stingy and don’t care about the safety of their staff, as long as business is going on. This was a sad incident indeed.
