President Rupiah Banda and his wife Thandiwe last evening returned to Lusaka from different parts of Africa.
President Banda was in Burundi while his wife Thandiwe was in Swaziland.
The couple almost landed at the same time at Lusaka International airport.
The wife who arrived first decided to wait for her husband at the airport.
The president arrived around 19 hours from Burundi where he had gone to attend the international conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) heads of State and Government round-table conference.
President Banda is the current ICGLR chairperson.

  lets be proud that our president and his wife were representing zambia on two international platforms. suggest tat we look at positive side and not be a critic… If obama and michel do this we all want to be happy and discuss their trips…

  Is Zambia so rich as to have these people travelling all the time wasting taxpayers money, do they realy consider how much poverty is in zambia were by they choose to spend all the money on travelling the world ,do not talk about Obama ,they have all the money you cannot compare America to the poverty stricken Zambia be kind enough to love your own people
