RB Copperbelt bound

President Rupiah Banda will tomorrow, Friday, travel to the Copperbelt, according to Copperbelt Province permanent secretary Villie Lombanya.
President Banda is scheduled to join celebrations to mark 10 years of the Zambia National Marketeers Association (ZANAMA).
President Banda is expected to land in Kalulushi and later go to Kitwe where he will join the celebrations.
He is set to return to Lusaka the same day.

The problem ALSO with us Zambian’s is that we also fail to recognise all spheres of commerce and entreprneurship. These guys probabley contribute more to the national kitty than 70% of our very lazy civil servants. They should be applauded and respected for making an hones living. And why not the President?
What kind of people are we as Zambians. The man decides to celebrate with our, aunties, uncles, sisters etc who are struggling toearn some money and send my fellow brothers and sisters to universities and other colleges you still condemn the man! He tries to be close to the grass roots you say no, complain and insult him. He goes to attend to intertional commitments you complain ” he is always on the move”. What kind of creatures are we????? Zambians let us move on and not be taken by the Post’s kind of looking at negatives every Gods day that He himself gives to Zambia. Let us be positive for once and encourage our President.
I am very much disappointed that it has to take the whole lot of our republican president to go and officiate ZANAMA. Where is the vice president or better still the minister of Finance? We know that he is just going there to campaign.
What is ZANAMA? What is MUZ? ZNUT? SESTUZ, BETUZ and all other unions in the country.

RB is hoping to swing Copperbelt opinion in his favour. There are surely other very important things RB can be doing in the Country. However, traveller of a President that he is, he could not resist the temptation. The Commerce Minister could have gone to grace this occasion.

Well, what value does this ZANAMA add to development. These are just pests who feed on poor marketeers. And the president is going to celebrate this?
