PF Nchanga Member of Parliament (MP), Wilbur Simusa has warned that the nation is headed for doom as the MMD has failed to deliver and address issues of national concern.
Speaking in an interview Simusa said the political situation in the country is antagonistic and leaves much to be desired.
He further warned that the opposition would fight back the ruling party as it has the goodwill of the people as opposed to the MMD who have only machinery.
Parliamentarian Wilbur Simusa, Volcanologist is freely interacting with all pipos and dooms day is not any where near. Or may be you are one of the Mayan tribe whose phrophesy is that the world is coming to an end in 2012? Therefore, Wilbur, do not cheat me that the political situation in the country is antagonistic and leaves much to be desired. I guess thats crying to loud for a ministerial position or its just language used when not in government? Sometimes, bwana Wilbur learn to indicate what has failed to the would be reader of your cries and not blanket statement. In short, articulate issues and maybe use words appropriately. Reading your article is like that parliamentarian who heard a new word and used it unappropriately in this case cos that is typical of our politicians.
To be honest, its you kwangalas mascaraiding as politicians who have not reached the level of political maturity while the citizen you purpot to preside on their affairs have come of age and more civilised. Therefore, if really the situation was like you have stated in your article, mama mia, this country was gonna be in chaos. Hence you politicians must grow and focus on development issues unlike cheap propaganda. You in the opposition must be pre-occupied with what is it that fellow kwangalas in government have failed to do which when elected will do best? Also, prove to electorates that we have presided over this and that in this council/s i/we serve and if given chance to be in power will do more unlike saying Zambia is headed for doom. I wish to remind you to mind your language and be careful in the way you use the Queen of England’s language.
If i may ask, are you planning any mischief which will head Zambia to a dooms day? Zambians will remain united and we urge you to unite as a political fronts and avoid this enemity which portray that there is fire in Zambia. Aso imwe ba ngwele you just want to deceive as that dooms day is around the corner yet you mix freely as politicians from ruling and opposition yet you are trying to create an impression that there is s dooms day coming so that we the Zedian can pick on mipalilo, spears, machets, etc, no way and you are lying. It will be your dooms day when we vote you out for not performing as my parliamentarian in 2011.
Niger is an example…
This is either crass journalism or my brother Simusa has lost it. As Volcanologist has said, where is the evidence of this doom? It would have been good if Mr Simusa could offer a carefully and well argued case of the problems before delivering his statement. Can he trully say for example that Zambian mines are worse off than when he was manager in ZCCM? Can he truly say that the hundreds of suppliers to the mines who he could not pay for months and years under ZCCM are worse off than they were? Zambia’s inflation is less than 10% Thousands of people are in gainful employment! There were only 200,000 formally employed people in Zambia in 1990, today there are 400,000! Miners lost their jobs in minning, yes, but they are better off because they are now proud owners of real estate! The owner occupation was rare in Zambia before 2000. This is real wealth and not cash in the pockets. Construction is now contributing a bigger proportion of GDP than ever before. Please Wibur, talk sense. Otherwise we will believe what HH said about you while you were campaigning for your seat. As an educated man, take an example from Dr Machungwa who knows when to criticise government and when to cooperate. You are not at UNZA, you are now an adult and a play maker. Contribute to your country’s development with tangible ideas and not Sata-nic rants!
Yes Zambia is headed for doom if Sata becomes president.
