The earlier it is introduced the better. People should get it out of their minds that they can control what people see with the advances in modern technology. Soon there will be mushrooming or free-to-air decoders that enable you see all sorts of things directly from satelites. This is already happening in a number of African countries. The best approach is to prepare people for the future not to bury your heads in the sand. Educated people make informed decisions. Teach the people well. Let Zambians be taught by domain experts, then they’ll be taught the truth.

Whether you watch porn or not is a personal matter. You can block the channel on your TV if you don’t want people to watch it there. I don’t think morality is so big in Zed – what with all the lodges and guest houses there that people use to go and ‘rest’ for an hour or so. And what with MCS admitting his adultery today and people just saying ‘so what!, He has admitted it’.
And these girls walking around in the evenings without any pants on and lifting their skirts for motorists to see the ‘goods’ on offer. How do they get corrupted? What moral fibre are people talking about in Zed on this blog? Morality indeed!

Dear fellow Zambians, we must not be deceived into thinking that porn is good; because it is not. Here is a nation that is struggling to find ways of mitigating HIV/ AIDS and child defilement. The latter has been perpetrated by adults who usually fantasize about having animal-kind of sex with humans. Can you you imagine how much danger legalised porn would pose to children considering that potential defilers would actually have watched explicit animal-kind-of-sex images on TV? Porn is neither western nor eastern. It certainly is not African. There is just no justification for it. It is simply sick.
