Another Bishop reacts to Chiluba

Former Church of God Overseer Bishop John Mambo has advised second republican president Frederick Chiluba to desist from using God to gain political advantage.
Bishop Mambo says it is wrong for Dr. Chiluba to claim to be a Christian when he is busy attacking others in public.
He says attacks by the second republican president on others are disappointing especially coming from a person who declared Zambia a Christina Nation.
Bishop Mambo has since advised Dr.Chiluba to take a leave from active politics and concentrate on the needs of the church.
He says Dr Chiluba should now relax and enjoy his retirement other than going around attacking people; something he says is shocking for a born-again Christian.
He added that Dr Chiluba should also desist from attacking other church leaders.

Bishop Mambo please shut up.I despise Chiluba but i despise Hypocrisy even more. Are
you suggesting that using the Lord to make a living like you have been doing is ok.
What about using orphans to eke out a living?

  • countryboy wrote on 5 March, 2010, 13:19

But my brother ‘LCC’ at the end of the day Bishop Mambo has kept street kids, you know the problem with us is that who ever is doing a noble project but using donor aid we take it that they are stealing, yes you ahve a salary out of that and you may be driving the same project vehicles which are just usual benefits for all employees even in government or any organisation. So plaese stop and change your line of thinking – the Bishop is right

Chiluba declared Zambia as a Christian nation! How about rephrasing that statement: “Chiluba, an unrepentant thief, wife-snatcher, shameless liar and now dirty-politician declared Zambia as a Christian nation!” This whole declaration is bogus and meant to protect Chiluba’s thick skin! The man has never been a Christian but a pretender! Worst of all, he’s a sinner who can’t see his own sins!

Chiluba is only supporting RB coz our grandfather (RB) was foolish enough to let him loose. Chiluba should not think we are foolish- in 2006 he lifted his small fist saying “twachula pafula”- the man was anti Mwanawasa and was PF100%. Now that Levy is gone and RB is easy on him he has decided to go flat out campaigning for MMD. We will sort them out in 2011. VIVA NAREP!!!

    Bishop Mambo

Hold your fire Bishop Mambo. How do you reply to Dr Chiluba(Phd. Msc. political Eng.) after learning that he has gone to SA for the heart condition? let him come back with the dossier and Sata will talk on his on. Dr Chiluba wont even waste time on you bishop mambo because you are inconsequential to the democratic despensation of this country that Dr Chiluba founded and spearheaded from the file and ranks of the then vibrant trade unions.

  • monalisasyndrome wrote on 5 March, 2010, 14:33

Your extolment of Chiluba is overly inflated. Chiluba lost credibility and all that he had achieved due to thieving. Trying to recite inconsequential accolades will not help his battered woman syndrome.

  • Ndiyo Na Salt Palibe wrote on 5 March, 2010, 14:34

Chiluba asked four simple questions and so far no one has answered them. Just a quick recap, is Micheal Sata a convict and therefore should not be seeking political office? Has Micheal Sata impregnated a women who is not his wife and is this morally acceptable by a person occupying political office? The title Bishop should be stripped from Mr Mambo because the man lacks morality and is cannot lead anyone.

  • mumbu chabuz wrote on 5 March, 2010, 14:35

Shut up your mouth you drunkard bishop Mambo. Chluba has been quiet for a long time and Sata kept on provoking him. You’re supporting Sata for doing what you too have been doing. We know your past

  • Shikalumekalyonso wrote on 5 March, 2010, 15:11

Chiluba cannot repent without asking for forgiveness from Mr Mwanza whose wife he grabbed. That is the only time he can start going arround and start possing as a man of God!

Hopeless Bishops. just likes openning his mouth.

Our memories are not short about the deeds of one ‘Bishop’ Mambo who can forget that he collected and pocketed money meant for Orphans not too long ago..who can forget about his relationships that were made public, he might not be the right man to say what he is saying but maybe he has repented who knows?

As for FTJ am sure the bell will oneday toll for him and the London Judgement might just ensure he goes bust…and that an iota of what he stole can go to the poor people who ‘suffered’ for ten long years whilst his clan went about plundering.

Sadly our ‘desk’ lawyers thought convictions are done in the newspapers and made a poor show of a clear case that even a second year student of law would know how not draw charges or adduce evidence something the now ‘rich’ deskies could not do to a man who was as guilty as Judas.

i’m afraid if everyone goes to ask questions or offer advice thru the press no one will ever shut up. once heart patient of the year returns he’ll no doubt issue a public reply

  • Aaron wrote on 5 March, 2010, 17:27

chiluba is not supposed to ask any questionsions….infact he is supposed to be doing his “”"miraculous revelations”"”" during his trial after he stole all that money from the poor zambians

Chiluba was only responding after Sata attacked him by accusing him of taking someone else’s wife. What Chiluba did was only human. Anyone of us would have done the same! Sata is a false prophet!

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [lawlessness].

To my Brother Pa Zed -

I think I understand where you were attempting to go with your Scripture review but might you not think that Matthew 18 is a far better place to be for these scoundels … Let them discuss between themselves, If a result is not agreed to, let the offender sit with the party plus two, If a result is not agreed to then take it before the church (Congregation).

Yes this is a loose interpretation but let it be … if that does work let them blungeon themselves … and put us all out of our misery…

And for my Brother Be Serious … If I recall was it not Chiuluba that stated Mahtani was the real force behind the Constitutional change. I am an old woman, but I believe that Chiluba announced this in the church with Mahtani at his side after Chiluba was forced to release Mahtani from prison (sort of a fitting conclusions to embarassment to Chiluba), and of course, that was just before was chasten in numerous ways for his misdeeds. I believe this is what I listen to on the radio from little place in the country.

To My Fellow Brother and Sister Bloggers -

Perhaps on a further note and for the consideration of the bloggers thoughts … Why does a politician need to position themselves in what they think is the setting of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by making, what they think, are “prophetic” statements about the character of the others they seem to want to dethrone from office.

Why don’t we as citizens demand that they cease with the personal barbs of their opponents and the church and act as a potential elected governance persons. In Zambia, we are clearly and carefully viewed as a nation with tremendous and vast potential but we are also viewed as unstable for investment due to the likes of what 20 or so people with really big mouths and a longing for a soapbox regardless of the damage we allow them to perpetrate in the media. Unfortunately, the media allows them to play to a point that the outside world thinks we are just a bunch of African’s coming out of the jungle with our spears and headdress. Unfortunately, this view is permeated from the likes of all of the 20 or so.

These guys do not represent my views, or the views of my educated family, or the views of my friends and neighbors and from reading many of your comments, they don’t represent the views of you.

WHEN DO WE GET OUR SOAPBOX TO CORRECTLY EXPRESS OUR VIEWS … WHICH MIGHT REFLECT A LITTLE BIT MORE SANITY … FOR THE SAKE OF OUR HOPEFULLY UPCOMING SOPHISTICATED COUNTRY.

There are 20 or so of us that could do as good a job as they … but with a hopeful bit more effectiveness in all views.

This mixture of politics with religion is a joke to say the least. Where in the world can you find politicians fighting with the clergy in such a manner. Zambia of course, ‘the christian nation’. This is precisely why we do not need the two mixed up. Politicians are suppose to deliver on election promises and the clergy are supposed to help as with our spiritual matters.

  • zuze wrote on 7 March, 2010, 9:53

politics can’t mix with religion coz politicians are thieves and crooks…
