A 40 year old Zambian businesswoman has been arrested in Swaziland for drug trafficking.
According to the Drug Enforcement Commission of Zambia, Misozi Tembo was arrested by Swaziland security personnel at Matsapha International Airport on her arrival from India after swallowing 72 sloops of heroin weighing about 1 kilogram.
She had swallowed the contraband as a mode of concealment.
Ms. Tembo who is based in Johannesburg South Africa, is currently detained by the Swaziland Police.
She becomes a sixth Zambian woman to be arrested for drug trafficking in the last three weeks.
Last week four women were arrested at the Lusaka International Airport for trafficking in pure grade cocaine while a fifth Zambian woman was arrested in Mubai India for trafficking in heroin.
Let her rot in prison and before she dies let her come and get rearrested for creating a bad image of our country. No wonder these women in Zed love money. If you want to marry you will discover that the relatives are in forefront condenming her if the guy has no budo.Well done mukutulus.
Whats wrong with our Zambian women?
whats wrong with these women now…?using the vagina for such acts…useless…and they shudn’t be bailed!!
There is work for our women lobby(ZWLG)far beyond just Tasintha!
The love for money by our zambian women is painting a bad image for country.
THIS IS SICKENNING.
World Cup is around the corner and this is what goes with it when hosted next door. Its a big cartel of the Mafiaso, drug barons from Mexico, Columbia, Venezuala at work and are engaging vulnerable women in SADC region to pendle drugs in readiness for the world soccer festival in South Africa in June.
These the equal rights that WOMEN are fighting for!!!!! What shame!!!!!
let them rot in hell, painting a bad 4 zed
ask rupia banda, concealling drugs in private parts is ponorgraphy
the desire for a posh life has caused our respectable women to engage in such vices.this is really diminishing the dignity of the zambian women.let us learn to live within our means
Volcanologist, when are you going to admit the reality? ? ? Why should we always blame foreigners when a crime is committed by fellow zambians? It will not help fight the trend. Let us look at the real roots and not pointing fingers to Nigerians, Congolese, Columbian,Mexicans. We all know we have drug barons in Zambia, long before the World Cup to be awarded to South Africa. One Kaunda minister was arrested for drug trafficking, most of the said businessmen traveling regularly to Asia , have mastered drug trafficking for many years, ewverybody knows it. Why should you always point fingers to others? The arrested women are just the 1/100th of the actual number of Zambian drug dealers.
KAUMB, my brother/sister (it does not matter what gender you are), I concur with you, it is about time the drug issues were addressed. We have a problem and a huge one indeed. Zambians should be identified for bigger things than drug trafficking.
