Sata apologises
PF leader, Michael Sata has apologised to the Mwanawasa family and any one who was offended by his statement that Levy Mwanawasa had wanted him dead.
Speaking in an interview, Sata said his statement was twisted as what he said is not what was reported by governemnt newspapers..
He further said he is not affected by attacks from the party’s Former Secretary Generals Charles Chimumbwa and Edward Mumbi.
The PF leader said their behavior has vindicated their party for expelling them.
Sata also challenged the Minister of Local Government, Eustarckio Kazonga to publish all funds which have been given to the councils since 2006.
His statement follows remarks by Kazonga that the PF councils had been funded though they are failing to deliver.

The 2011 candidacy issue of either UPND president and presidential candidate HH or undereducated ex-convict PF leader MC Sata issue of the UPND-PF PACT has made me to reflect on the Holy Bible record where the people of Jerusalem was asked by Pilate as to whom the people wanted to be released in the following scriptures:

UPND’s HH is clean of any moral or corrupt case as of today while Mr PF/Sata MC is a confirmed former criminal case convict at our Mukobeko Maximum Security Prison because he has not denied the allegation by a Mr Ngoma whom he shared the prison cell with and Mr Sata has had extra-marital immoral activities with a known woman and possibly other women in looking at his previous and so on wives.
Some 79 Chekwe contributor in a Lusaka Times (LT) thread “Zambia: Catholics’ conduct forced me to expose Sata-Ngoma” put up nice points which included “Here we are again 18 month or so from elections still fooling ourselves with Sata a bisa born of Nuacusa in Mbeya for President.What if he grows cold on making oath before the Chief Justice over his forged degree and that plus an injunction against his criminal record holds? ” Surely Zambians have been presented with the best (HH) and the worst (Mr Sata MC) for decision 2011 to support as UPND-PF PACT presidential candidate and sadly the support from Bembas on this blog and elsewhere is towards Mr Sata MC when they clearly know that this is bad for Zambia just by looking at Mr PF/Sata MC’s past and present record.
I therefore humbly appeal to all Zambians to serious consider what is best for our personal lives — non-Bemba by tribe, ex-Mukobeko-Maximum-Security-Prison-convict, always inconsistent undereducated PF self-appointed leader MC Sata or an nicely educated and morally uplift Zambia who embraces all people from all walks of life HH to lead the PACT as it goes for 2011 tripartite elections.
Brothers and sisters, let us not let the Roman Catholic Church which is headed in Rome to dictate to us who must be our Zambian President. Let us support those who have shown that they have capacity to do the best for all Zambians. Let us support a leader who will stand up to defend the Constitution of Zambia instead of one who openly said, in the 2008 president by-election campaigns, that he was going to behave contrary to the Constitution of by being Zambian President for 5 yrs if he was mistakenly elected President even though his term is affected by the end of the National Assembly in 2011 through dissolution of Parliament.

When we were forming MMD, during the one party state, we were tortured physically and mentally, some of our friends lost employment, others lost their lives, but we continued to fight unitl we won. It was not an easy battle, because we were fighting a regime that was so experienced and well equiped in dehumanising people.
This regime was commanded by RB, William Banda, Times of Zambia, Daily Mail, ZNBC (Veteran).
But soon after we won the battle, the same people that were against the change quickly changed colours and highjacked our manifesto and ditched KK, some people can be lucky I tell you.
Because they are not the architect of MMD manifesto, a document they dont believe in, they have failed to interprete it, the more reason MMD is in dissarray. MMD is preparing to go for elections without any credible alliance. Cosmo, Siulapwa,Sikota, BY have no following. The church, LAZ, Labour Movement and the majority of Zambians have all ditched MMD. In Choma they had to hire youths from opposition to go and give support to Namugala.
RB should humble himself and reconcile with the church, he should not pretend all is fine. MMD has cracks, big cracks which need his attention. Those opportunists he has surrounded himself with will ditch him nextyear after losing elections.

Sata has proved a national danger Zambia does not need to gamble with. Fortunately no nation can throw away its constitution and compromise its highest constitutional office with a certified convicted criminal that cannot pass basic background check. How can other heads of states be cleared by their national security systems to a meeting with a convicted criminal? I implore Sata that as a documented convicted hardcore criminal, he must consider applying to Zambia’s criminal court for his record to be expunged instead of being flattered by Telesphore Mpundu his in-law and some ignoramus armchair cadres that time has sanctified him of his criminal record.
How do you expect the chief custodian of the law to be a convicted criminal in a constitutional democracy? As a convicted criminal Sata is legally and automatically disqualified from holding constitutional Presidential job but his PF.
As someone convicted of a felony; he is no different from those who have been convicted of illegal narcotics possession, criminally negligent homicide, 3rd degree assault, 2nd degree threatening, 1st degree reckless endangerment, 2nd degree unlawful restraint, 1st or 2nd degree riot, inciting to riot, or 2nd degree stalking; he could have been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude; or discharged from the colonial police force under conditions that demonstrate questionable moral character. He cannot work Head of state, guard, or security officer if he had been convicted of a felony, any s-e-x-u-a-l offense, any crime that would question his honesty.

Whatever…! In my view he has already lost the elections. He is making the same mistakes he did towards the 2006 elections. He is busy annoying everybody, and his cadres have shown nothing but consistent violence as a way of expressing their views. What I actually think is that, even though I’m yet to be convinced by Sata in terms of his policies, for the rest of Zambia all he needs is a sloght change of iage for him to win elections. This time he has a true national profile ion terms of support. However, his image is still predominantly negative – which is a shame. I can’t stand another 5 years of Bwezani Kumbuyo Banda. On the other hand, the opposition is still weak. To remove a rulling party you need a huge positive profile that inspires with big positive policies that are laid down in simple language. At the moment, The PACT is a whimper and only strong in predictable areas of the country and even in those areas the MMD will still get votes from there. When you as k Sata about his policies, he just mumbles like an offended dog. If he speaks out it is usually about childish policy-statements like I will put money in each and every pocket. These are the same policies which Kaunda used in 1964 saying an egg for every Zambian, and where did we end – a broken down economy and he hdad to be kicked out in 1991. But because Zambians are known for being docile, Sata is taking advantage of that. He knows that there will be no money in every pocket – anyone who believes that ought to have their head examined! We are so used to suffering that we have stopped voting on the basis of policy, we just vote because we like the way someone talks rubbish and then get surprised when they come into power and change things for the worse. Anyway, probably that is what makes us Zambians.

In 1998 or 1999 He wrote a letter to then Head of state warning him to be weary of some MDs in some powerful Multi-nations who were being elected as ward chairmen about their intentions on the presidency. This was in apperent reference to the late Mazoka who was just elected as MMd Ward Chairman for Bauleni. When this letter leaked to the post and was actually published , Chimudala denied all the contents of the letter but accepted the signature. THe rest is history, Mazoka was frustrated out of the MMD. This apology will be hard to accept. Mudala repent for good.

And so, I am now advising the former convict at our maximum security prison Mr PF’s Sata MC to just tell the nation that he is ill-educated to run our country Zambia at the level of President of Zambia.
