Sata in secret meeting with Mugabe in Livingstone
President Michal Sata has reportedly flown to Livingstone to meet Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe. It is not clear what the two old presidents are discussing but it seems the meeting was initiated by Mugabe who flew into Livingstone earlier. The meeting started around 15 hours. Sata was hosting former USA president George Bush a day before.
“On what basis does Amnesty International want us to arrest Mr Bush? Tell them to hang, and also please ask them to create their own country and wait for Mr Bush to visit their country so that they can arrest him to suit their wish and not here in Zambia,” Foreign Minister Chishimba Kambwili told AFP.
