Chief Sikoongo of Chirundu forced to go to State House

Chief Sikoongo of Chirundu has been forced to meet President Michael Sata on Thursday over his uncompromising stand against ‘amputating’ Chirundu from Southern province. He failed to answer very elementary but frank questions such as“why would eminent Lawyers like Dr. Rodger Chongwe and Willa Mung’omba go outside their Terms of Reference?” “Does the restoration of the BA 64 threaten national unity?” “Why did the PF promise restoration of the BA 64 during campaigns?” Thanks to ZNBC for providing Kabimba the air time which he used as a “rope to hang himself.”

Homosexuality like all other mental diseases needs to be treated through an array of rehabilitative approaches. We as the Zambia Rainbow Coalition recognize that just as robbers, criminals, prostitutes and the mentally ill deserve to have rights as well as rights to rehabilitation and other social support networks. Homosexuals deserve the right to rehabilitation as well.
