Glencore says can pull out of African countries changing mining contracts
Glasenberg, whose company is in the throes of a tie-up with miner Xstrata , warned Glencore would not hesitate to withdraw investments in places like Africa if governments change the terms of existing contracts in their favour.
“African states are going to have to be very careful because there are minerals all over Africa and if they start this nationalism or if they start taking a bigger profit, we will go elsewhere,” he said.

Time to worship Indians, Chines or Whites is over and indeed time of ascribing wamuyaya to any human being instead of God is over. President Michael Sata has created Chembe as a new district in Luapula Province. President Sata has written to Luapula province Minister Rodgers Mwewa directing him to liase with all the stakeholders, political parties and traditional rulers in order for them to establish the centre where the district headquarters will be located.
