State House ADC accused of replacing qualified officers with friends

Editor

I wish to express my deepest disappointment at the manner officers are being harassed by state house police command .The ADC to the president Mr  Bwanga recently transferred 20 senior officers to various divisions without any reasonable cause.

These senior officers are very experienced in VIP protection. This has greatly compromised security at state house. This ADC is a security risk to the institution and to the president himself.

Furthermore he has a tendency of choosing officers to go on trips abroad single handedly which is not a normal practice.

Officers are currently leaving under fear because of the way their colleagues were transferred. These transfers were effected on 14th April, 2012.

These officers have since been replaced by inexperienced officers who are not trained in VIP protection. We need quick intervention from the president in this matter. Most of the officers whom he has brought for replacements are his personal friends he worked with at service HQ.

  2. Bloggers are wondering why the kaponyas are always using the word ‘bitter’. Its from the Postmortem paper. This paper has brainwashed a lot of the blind followers such that they simply regurgitate words and phrases from the paper without thinking. So and so is bitter, is chocking with envy and so on. This is how tragic the situation has become.

  3. The Idiot is a fool who has no guts, why complain over a normal transfer and what VIP experience do the 20 transfered idiot state house cops have compared to that of the remaining 600 cops at State house who has been there all along. Masipa just go and experience another enviroment who told you that you would be permanently deployed at State House. I wonder who ever cheated you that there was no life at any other Police formation apart from State House. Those are the same idiots who enjoyed travelling on abroad trips with the former presidents regularly frustrating the hard working majority cops at the grass root. I rest my case.

  13. The concern is valid, nepotism has taken root in the system. I know some didnts will always relate it to bitterness as usual. They dont want to hear anything anti ukwa, because they still believe in his lies. Sata is not perfect and so a lot of things will go wrong, like it or not. The best is to keep yourself abreast with reality.

  15. Why do kaponyas only use one word against everybody – BITTER? Anyway, if the President does not care about his personal security, that is OK with us Zambians. We are being harassed by thieves in our homes every night and the police are never there for protection. We wish that the President will have similar experiences soon so that we equalise.

  18. well everything has to be taken with a pinch of salt. maybe the guy is bitter. but neverthelss my understanding is that we send these officers abroad for training in VIP protection and its a huge cost. these are specialsied individuals and not just any ZP. so bwana ukwa your ADC/CHIEF OF SECURITY is placing your life and that of your wife at risk by bringing in experience and un trained officers. true they can be trained but at what cost to the nation. we already have the trained ones. use those. please boss.take heed.

  25. its a normall practice, those transfered had royalty to RB so they have brought people who will have royalty to Sata moreover there a young men coming into the police service you dont want them to work at state house ( ni wadyako wadyako siilako banzako) let other police men also experience how it is to work at state house not just same people all the time, unless you are saying those who have come now are untrainable

  28. Dear Concerned Citizen my son,
Experience is the best teacher. The new officers will also learn the VIP protection tactics. Therefore, do not worry. Moreover, there is no eminent threat on any VIP in Zambia. Sata rarely moves out. Keep quiet my son.
