Katongo
Chipolopolo captain Chris Katongo is competing for the award of BBC Africa Footballer of the year.
He is competing with four others in Yaya Toure, Didier Droba all of Ivory Coast, Senegal’s Demba Ba and Morocco’s Younes Belhanda.
The winner will be decided by African football fans (you), who have until 1830 GMT on Thursday, 13 December to vote for their choice.

@Ikafa. I think I watched news where it was said that Ghana fans protested the removal of Chris from the CAF list. Countries such as Ghana and Nigeria may not vote for their fellow West Africans.

yaya toure won the English league
while Demba Ba performed well for his club but
when the three played against Christopher Katongo side they all lost and chris won Africa’s most prestigious Cup, the Mandela Challenge and is in pole position to qualify Zambia for their Maiden World Cup Appearance.
