Urologist Francis Manda says MP’s resigning from their political parties are behaving like Hyenas searching for faeces.
The outspoken Urologist said it is unacceptable that selfish politicians could be allowed to waste public resources on unnecessary bye elections.
“They are behaving exactly like Hyenas, these are animals that go about looking for faeces. The MP’s ditching their parties are like Hyenas looking for fecal excreta,” Dr. Manda said.
Dr. Manda was speaking Saturday morning during his popular radio show “Manzi Therapy” on ZNBC Radio 4.
He said Zambia is a country with meager resources for development programmes adding that spending huge amounts of money on bye elections which could be avoided is unacceptable.
Dr. Manda supported proposals that the new constitution should include provisions that will enable the party nominate a candidate to see out the remainder of the term in an event that the MP crosses the floor.
“We cannot continue with defections at this rate. We need these constitutional changes in order to protect public funds,” Dr. Manda said.
He also appealed to political parties to exhibit maturity and settle down in 2013.
“We saw a lot of bickering in all parties including the ruling one in 2012. We don’t need such in 2013. These political parties need to learn to resolve issues amicably.”
Dr. Manda said infighting in political parties contributed to the lack of development in 2012.
“We didn’t see any meaningful development in the past year because politicians were busy bickering. Let us start politics in 2016 and not now when Zambians want development.”
Right on Doc. These faeces feasting MPS are a real disgraces to say the least. I am not convinced with there reasons fro crossing floor apart from from self enrichment. Bravo the Name FEACES FEASTING MPS befits all them. Useless scavengers!

Does defecting help the country or just fcks a taxpayer like me? This chaps should reconsider the plight of a taxpayer in paying for foolishness at it’s best. The problem with Zambian MPs when you compare them with the USA senators is that Zambian MPs are not that educated but senators are although most of them use drugs. That is the difference lol !

Hyenas can eat anything, infact not just faeces but they drink urine to accompany the stuff. Just look at the calibre of politicians running away from their parties not because of ideology but because they want an air conditioned office. They want to be fat and travel abroad at government expense and later boast in pubs and taverns.

the doc is not a govt
spokesperson, he is a civil servant and i wouldnt think he would divert to start politicking on the national radio. He has alot to lose. Watch this space and if realy he went that far then he better join politics instead of working at uth.
As for the by elections , dont pretend that u are worried of the money no, it loosing support. Be good to your mps and they wont leave.

As a patriotic Zambian what is important to be worried of, loosing support or wasting resources through nonsensical by election hatched by a dying and selfish dictator at state house? Let us use resources to bring development to all.

Most Zambian politicians frnkly speaking are MPs just for their personal enrichment. No wonder they so easily defect. When we complain about by-elections, their only stupid answer is that “It is budgeted for”. Shameless hyenas. K5 billion plus other corrupt resources push these expenses to over K20 billion. They would rather close UNZA and CBU to save money for by-elections.
People managing this country are only interested in politics and power than anything else. These are the enemies Zambians need to fight instead of engaing in tribal insults which are intigated by the same greedy people. To keep us busy insulting each other instead of demamding that they bring development and keep their campaign promises.
This govt. might be the only one which Zambians may decide to remove by force so quickly. Their vision is not clear and their totally without clear direction. Their president is not visible and appears sick and unfit. So the hide him in State House. It is only a matter of time, the hwole structure will fall after his death.

These mpz should stop getting salaries only allowances. This will encourage mps who don’t visit their constituences to do so in order to get an allowance. This thing of changing camps coz of money at the expense of the massive poor people is not acceptable at all. Their conc
