Lubinda chased from Cabinet meeting
President Michael Sata yesterday allegedly chased away Foreign Affairs Minister Given Lubinda from the cabinet meeting.
Sources from State Hous have told the Watchdog that when the Mr. Sata entered the Cabinet meeting room, he found Mr. Lubinda seated with other ministers.
Then Mr. Sata started shouting at Mr. Lubinda that he could not allow him in the cabinet meeting because he had been informed by PF Secretary General, Winter Kabimba, that he (Lubinda) was treacherous.
Mr. Lubinda tried to explain to Mr. Sata that the accusations were not true, but typical of President Sata, he could not give him a hearing and ordered that he leaves the cabinet room.
At that stage, there was a mini quarell between Mr. Lubinda and Kabimba before the former finally left.
Mr. Lubinda has been accused of treacherous behaviour by the Kabimba camp that want him hounded out of the party as he is seen as a threat to Kabimba’s presidential ambitions.

when mr.Sata used to be very critical of RB as president that RB was wasteful because of “over traveling” out of the country, i thought to myself, that was not enough reason to change leadership. I once asked my Zambian friend who was was a PF cadre and now DC the following question:
what alternative policy solutions does PF have to bring change for an ordinary Zambian? He basically had no proper answer. Like many others, the best answer then was that Zambia needs someone like Sata. So, ladies and gentlemen, next elections, vote for people to make changes like expensive education, roads connectivity to the rural area. Of all fairness I would have wished to know the “the pipo who were in the tribunal” to tackle Lubinda’s treacherous case if Winter was there then it was not a fair and just trial for obvious reason Winter is an interested party. I voted for PF because of the credibility which Lubinda brought to this party, Lubinda was what I would term PF new man like what happened when UNIP was deemed a terrorist party by the colonialist until Kaunda wooed the educated Africans like Elija Mudenda, John Mwanakatwe, Mainza Chona and other notables. My heart is bleeding because of these happening – Lubinda is more of an asset to PF please your Excellency use your talent to decipher who is telling the truth. it was the last stroll! Hwas being sidelined ever since the P.fost reported long B4 came into power as to whether he had ambitions of becoming PF Presido at some time after Sa.tan. He replied in affirmation. this annoyed cyle mata.

I am waiting on how this Lubinda/Kabimba/MMembe/Sata will play out. I have a feeling we are in for entertainment of the highest order. Remember the Kapwepwe/Kaunda fiasco in the 70′s? Am not sure i’ve ever seen this in Zambia’s political history. Someone fighting so hard for presidency within a year of a president being elected.
Is there something that Kabimba knows that the nation needs to know? This is strange, however very good for Zambians to know the nature of leadership in power.
