Who we are

The Zambian Watchdog is owned by private Zambian journalists.

What we do

We publish breaking news on Zambia and about Zambia on a 24 hour basis. We also publish investigative special reports. At times we aggregate news carried by local media.

Our guiding principle

We write news regardless of who or what the subject is. We fear no one. We favour no one.

How we work

We have a team of editors who update the site anytime and from anywhere. We also have a network of journalists who gather news and send it to editors via email and mobile phones. Some of our writers work for other media in Zambia. We have contacts in most important public and private bodies in Zambia who supply us with information. Given the sensitive nature of the work we do, we rarely disclose who our writers and contributors are.
