The meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday 15 March 2011 at Nasdec was exclusive to the President of FAZ and his Executive Committee members and any representatives of the Council. There was no need to have any other FAZ members and affiliates such as the newly appointed chairman of Kabwe Warriors and an official of Amakumbi Stars. Should there have been need for any FAZ members to be present, notices and circulars should probably have been sent to all the over 260 affiliates. That however would not have been necessary as the FAZ AGM next weekend provides a platform for the football family.

The propaganda of lies, deceit and the smear campaign being perpetuated by a named FAZ member is deliberately planned but a futile attempt by this individual and a few of his colleagues who are bent on tarnishing the name of the game and FAZ. His attempts will not succeed because they are not founded on truth but based on individual slur, self-interest and desperation which are bringing the name of the game into disrepute.

These proceedings have not met this constitutional standard in that this Court cannot be said to be independent and impartial. The accused person is expected to be afforded a fair hearing. This is possible only if the Court remains an independent umpire, which is not the case. The prosecution of the accused has been conducted by the Court itself making it unsafe to return any verdict of guilt against the accused person.
