Gounass finally manages to have Ibrahim Dia deported, without passport

Ibrahim Dia, the president of the association of Senegalese in Zambia was Sunday afternoon deported to Senegal.
Dia, was deported at theb instigation of Kitwe based jerabo Abdoulaye Ndiaye commonly known as “Gounassi
Dia was bundled onto a South African Airways flight form Ndola Airport at 14: 25 local time. Aiprot workers were shocked to see that the money being pushed through the lines has no passport.
He told shocked airport officials that his passport is held by a court in Ndola.
Dia complained bitterly and wondered why he was deported without his passport wwhich is held by the Zambia governemtn through the court. He was escorted to the plane until it left ndola.
Last Thurday, Dia, was cleared of immigration related charges he was facing at the instigation of Kitwe based criminal Abdoulaye Ndiaye commonly known as “Gounassi” .

But, even though before magistrate Joshua Banda found Dia with no case to answer and set him free, Dia has been remanded and is about to be deported.

Just after the magistrate declared that Dia is innocent, Gounassi instructed the immigration under his pocket to slap Dia with another and fresh charge of being a prohibited immigrant.

He was arrested again before leaving the court premises. A deportation order was obtained immediately. Sources close to the courts said Douglas, Gounaasi’s agent at immigration and his group had the deportation order signed before judgement.

The ticket for his deportation was bought and paid for by Gounassi a few days ago.

Dia is the man who has been helping Gounassi wife in the case where she is demanding her divorce settlement.

She was also arrested and survived a deportation after her case was blown to to the public.

The author of this article appears to be very ignorant and is corruptly being used by Ibrahim Dia to seek public sympathy. For record sake this Dia was convicted on two counts in court one for having an unlicensed fire arm ( pistol) and the other for masquerading as an investor who doesn’t pay any tax but produced forged audit reports to obtain his residence permits in Zambia. For the gun he was fined K40 m which he paid and for the forgery he was convicted and given a suspended sentence.According to Zambian law any foreigner convicted of an offence except a traffic offence must be deported from Zambia as he becomes a security threat. Can someone explain what happened to our citizen in Ndola who was recently shot by a Somalian who had an unlicensed fire arm do we want a repeat of that to know that this man is a threat in Zambia.Whatever his differences with that Gunassi or Rosemary whatever i think we don’t need such criminals.

  21. sage  December 24, 2012 at 14:08

Why does this country allow foreign nationals to abuse its laws with impunity? Is this a demonstration of the extent of moral decay and corruption that pervades government institutions? The Minister of Home Affairs should shoe leadership and tell the nation what is happening in this case. Or is he toothless in the face of what is going on because this West African rogue is so powerful he can do as he pleases in this country? This makes such sad reading. Wither this country?

    • Bonzo  December 24, 2012 at 14:53
