Sata’s company takes over all Govt advertising contracts

Sata cheating his way to State houseAll advertising contracts for government and key parastatals in the mainstream media will now be handled by President Michael Sata’s company, City Advertising Zambia Limited.

The greeady and corrupt move by dictator Michael Sata means that a lot of youths and other small businesses and even established advertising companies will lose businesses.

State House sources have told the Watchdog that Sata’s company, City Advertisers domiciled at Farmers House on Cairo Road, which initiated, and still runs Sangwapo Adverts in the Patriotic Front controlled and run newspaper, The Post, is now the official advertising agent for all government activities.

Sources have disclosed that key institutions such as the Road Development Agency (RDA) have been ordered to channel all their print and electronic advertisements and payments to City Advertisers.

RDA was recently transferred to State House under the president’s office and regularly runs full-page newspaper adverts worthy billions of kwachas.

Advertisements for the government and its parastatal wings runs in billions of kwacha.

The media industry in Zambia employs hundreds of sales executives, mainly youths who obtain advertisements from both private and public institutions for a living.

The move to corruptly award Sata’s firm as the sole advertising agent for government has effectively sent these sales executives in the streets.

Some of the advertising agents complained that it was now hard for them to attract advertising contracts where they earn a commission because most of their clients in government and parastatals channel adverts through City Advertisers, Sata’s company.

Less than six months in office, president Michael Sata increased his personal salary by more than 100 per cent. He is already building his retirement hoouse.

So its Sata’s company doing the adverts? No wonder we have a prevalence of satanic symbols on most of the billboards. check out the billboard as you drive to kabwe on great north road at Protea hotel turn off near chisamba, you will see the billboard showing the devil worshipping satanic symbol of a one eyed face. in Satanism which KK is very pleased to bring back, its known as the “all seeing eye” or the “eye of Providence”. google the two terms, read and know the truth and you will understand why we ve terrible road carnages in the country and you will understand KK, membe and sata’s partnership. these three are devil worshippers!

      • Woman of Substance  December 24, 2012 at 21:37

Liberalisation, my God! Is Sata’s City Advertisers the liberal company you are talking about? Indeed you are chronically ignorant.

Please pray for this fellow to start thinking using his head, not the fist. No intellectual effort is required to appreciate that we are heading wrong direction in nearly everything.

  14. Fairplay  December 24, 2012 at 17:56

Ok, maybe u cease to be Zambian when you become president! abuse of Public Order Act, immunity to corruption, …etc. When we voted, we knew of the “more money in your pockets” policy. Are we all sharing the cake here?

  15. nshilimubemba  December 24, 2012 at 16:49

when you are president do you stop being a citizen of a given nation if you are one of the same people why not exist like the rest of zambians

So far so good Ba Kateka. Andeleki, Kabimba, Masumba, Mulenga Sata, Kambwili, Sakeni, Bo Libongani, Commissioner Kasosa and the lady who was transferred to the Southern Province, have all been exceptional this year. Lubinda,Mulongoti, Mangani, Lucas Phiri, dr. Chituwo, Nevers, HH etc have been given good discipline. Mulongoti however needs more squeezing. Make the boy cry.

  20. Mphangwe  December 24, 2012 at 15:21

The theme of the song is: “LET ME MAKE MONEY FOR MY FAMILY BEFORE I DIE”. It is a quest for a prayer to Zambians: LET THE SLEEPING DOGS LIE AS WE FEAST ON TAX PAYERS’ MONEY. Does God ever exist in this Universe? God forbid!

  21. LELONILELO  December 24, 2012 at 13:36

THIS PRESIDENT WITHOUT TESTICLES WILL DESTROY THIS COUNTRY. NO WONDER THE JUNIOUR DOCTOR AT UTH WAS FEASTING ON HIS WIFE.

  22. Blessings  December 24, 2012 at 12:17

Good business move ba Presido. That is tru empowerment. The Bible in Matthew 27 v 11 says “THE POOR SALL ALWAYS BE AMONG US…” you cant please all the poor pipo B Presido. RB said he was a president for all Zambians; look at where it left him. Thanks for being a man of action; make legitimate money while you can, you are entitiled to the chopper, the retirement house, etc. By the way, All presidents go to Mfuwe for holiday; please go as well. you need to relax and refreshen. looking forward to your address later today. When FTJ ascended to power, he was everybody’s darling. He appeared to be doing very well and attracted the imagination of the majority. However, things started changing during his last half of the first term when he allowed to be insulated by criminal elements whom he accommodated with a lot of relish. So, when people say better things are yet to come with the Government of MCS, let’s take this with a pinch of salt. Usually, people in power want to impress, or is it to hoodwink the masses, in the first few years in power. MCS needs to impress now so that people can develop confidence in his leadership. He should not wait until electioneering time for him to impress, it will be too late. RB will testify to this when massive road projects were commenced in the election time – everybody concluded he was using the road projects to hoodwink the masses, but it was too late.

    • never  December 24, 2012 at 18:56

Sata is currently the most experienced politician in Zambia. He can not make the same mistake Rupiah made.During election time, he will just be pointing at the roads, stadiums, buildings etc that he would have built.

      • Tunji  December 25, 2012 at 07:24

stupid u think Zambians will eat the buildings, roads etc. use yo head to think and not yo ass!!!!

      • solo  December 26, 2012 at 07:38

mwana @never. you cant be real patriotic zambian. you are a mouth piece or blind to the truth. i have closely followed your blogs on many news items and i have even saved some of your comments. you baffle me with your comments. i voted for MCS underthe guise that change for the better was coming. in just over a year i have witnessed the opposite. now tell me hasnt the cost of living gone up exponentially? dont we have erratic fuel supplies? hasnt he been allowing corruption in his goverment at a large scale? what with the acquital of kapoko? and re appointment of simon miti? since independence, have we ever seen politicians from the same party (ruling party) washing dirty linen in public? while the leader keeps num. isnt it true that kaseba sata is jet setting more trhan any first lady in the past? isnt it true that she even uses an amoured vehicle that sata said was so xepensivel;ly bought by RB? and by the way she is not entitled top it. isnt it true that she jumps on the officsil presidential challenger plane on her own and uses it ? all at our expense. is it not true that he has failed to make proper goverment policy on many things? hasnt he failed the people of zambia in the agric sector? and many more. my freind please be objective and see waht is front of all of us. this amn doesnt mean well for our country. and people like you who blindly support him will bring our beloved country to its knees. and ipray you dont have children, because if you do have children and then you can allow such kind of a president to rulethis country i pity ypur kids. because all the children of zambia will have a miserable life style once sata is done with this country at the rate he is going. i rest
