PF chairlady bounces cheque as curios traders accuse Masebo of swindling them

chequePF Southern province chairlady Annie Tisha and her husband Mr. Host have bounced a cheque at Stanbic Bank in Livingstone.

According to the information obtained, the couple issued a cheque of Kr 186 to The Link Warehouse Limited on an insufficient account.

The cheque from Finance Bank which is dated 5/3/2013 was rejected by Stanbic Bank Livingstone Branch on March 6, 2013.

The PF provincial Chairlady and her husband Mr. Host issued the cheque to the Link Warehouse for and on behalf of Central Electric Limited which they own.

The Cheque number is 00151.

It is a criminal offence under  Section 33 (1) of the National PaymentSystems Act number 1 of 2007 as read with Bank of Zambia ActChapter 387 of the Laws of Zambia to issue a Cheque when you have no nomey in your bank account.

And Curio traders in Livingstone who supplied their curios to Tourism Minister Silvia Masebo when she was leaving for Germany have complained of having been swindled.

The Traders from Mukuni Village, Muso-o-tunya Arts centre, Victoria Falls, Mukuni Park and Falls Park gave their curios to the minister worthy Kr 50,000 and were supposed to be paid but have not been paid.

According to the information, Ms Masebo promised to sell the curios in Germany but from the time she came back, the traders have not been informed of any development.

And when they asked her over their monies, Ms Masebo promised to meet them but did not.
