Photo of the day: back in the day

From left to right: Sam Nujoma of Namibia, KK of Zambia, Samora Machel of Mozambique, Julius Nyerere of Tanzania and the winner is Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, the last man standing. In fact, chances are that, he will win the next elections in Zimbabwe. We just wonder who was designing the almost similar suits these ‘boys’ were putting on?presidents

We dont care what rest of world thinks of us - Zambian govt

That’s why children of today don’t grow old because of lucking respect for elders. remember you people that only God can judge someone not even you.

If you have personal grudge against someone never should you insult him/her. This is a response to all those whos comments are full of insults.

  3. Star Gazer!!!!  June 17, 2013 at 23:11

  5. The Third  June 17, 2013 at 17:14

This is cool, I have forwarded this picture to President Mugabe & His Excellency Dr. Kaunda for a flash back. I remember this meeting we had back in our times, am only 32 now.

50 years after independence and we are even in worst situation. Look! Don’t waste your time talking politics when others are enjoying their lives with money without politics. See how this Zambian poor woman became a millionaire just by buying and selling accidented cars, Very interesting idea. Go to (accidented cars.com) to see the various methods and companies that she was using , (accidented cars.com). A very simple idea.

All these leaders either dead,or retired but mugabe honestly it beats my mind why he is hanging on and even looking youngish. Wonders shall never seize so to say.

    • eagle's eye  June 17, 2013 at 15:20

do your research. only two of them are dead and that’s Machel in a plane crash in 1986 & Nyerere from leukemia later.

      • sae35  June 19, 2013 at 19:45

S/he said all are either dead or retired. Your point?

  9. Victor  June 17, 2013 at 15:04

come on guy, when a kariba dam was being made, the Tongas from lower Zambezi were affected & todate, they are suffering. U know why, so that the millions Zambian can enjoy the luxury of electrified homes. Whatever the wrong KK did, while he could not have please everyone, those u who call the man idiot today, yourselves or your parent were educated by the same man & that is why u are able to speak your thoughtless stupidity out. KK is more hero in Africa than any other leader.

A squad of economic failures for sure.

  13. Oldmadala  June 17, 2013 at 13:54

Where is Mugabe’s flesh gone? He was fat and bulky then. Anyway, he looks a troubled man nowadays. I wonder what motivates him to cling on to power. Probably he made a vow… ‘i Bob, do hereby swear that i shall hold on to power till death do us part, so help me God’. You have millions zimbabweans across SA today for economic reasons not to mention those that we see on our streets selling different merchandise to earn a living.

  14. its like that  June 17, 2013 at 13:43

Nujoma = Railway worker UNAM has branches in al provinces of Nambia]
    Kaunda = failed Form 2 and ended up a school teacher [only built UNZA and ZIT];
Machel = A male nurse [only had the delapidated Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo]
Nyerere = MA Edinburgh University [left only University of Dar es Salaam]
Mugabe = 7 degrees (from Fort Hare, UNISA, etc); three of them at Masters level [ No wonder Zimbabwe has more than 14 universities (real ones not Palabana) and four are being built this year (2013]

To those who are still alive, let them turn their heads and look back. The first and obvious thing they will see in Africa is High levels of “Poverty and Educated Illiterates”. The core purpose of live is “Service” to the benefit of others. Let them asked themselves if they did meet that demand when “Time and Chance” was in their God given hands.
