Photo of the day: soccer fans salute HH

1004426_560340744024758_1690539359_nIMG00002-20130609-1536-1UPND)President Hakainde Hichilema is currently touring the Copperbelt province. On Saturday, he joined thousands of other soccer lovers where Zambia humbled Lesotho 4 – 0. Looks like a good omen for the opposition leader as he begins to tear down what was once the PF’s stronghold. If there was anywhere the UPND leaders was given a thundering welcome, it was at  Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

In the photo, soccer fans salute the UPND leader as he entered the stadium. Eve Sata’s image builders at the post newspaper could not find a better picture to put on their front page but the one showing soccer fans raising the UPND symbol.

HH is the only person who can take this country forward whether you like it or not. These guys in government are too old outed to the affairs of this country.

MALABWA FENNY – You should be choosing people to insult you son/daughter of a failure. how dare can you insult and elderly person like HH. Grow up and have manners you dog.

You must be a product of corruption – your mother must be a terrible creature to have given birth to an idiot like you.

    Zambians want change again!
Agony is getting much of the same change!
    2016 is miles away!
The explosive dynamite of maize and fuel has set the stage for desperation!

The next thing PF will do is to devalue the debased kwacha!
What a mess we have found ourselves in?
    Change is needed fast!

The biggest mistake in life is lessons not learnt!
We should never put too much trust in individuals!
What we need are systems of governance!

  9. SouthPaw  June 10, 2013 at 11:00

@Wams do not deceive yourself or live in denial. You cannot dismiss what happened as nothing simply because the stadium had 40 000 people. It is an ominous sign for the PF. Remember what happened to KK when he went to watch a football match at the Independence Stadium? He was pelted, for the first time in his life as Soccer Fan No 1. That marked the beginning of the end for the man. If you think this is nothing, ask Sata to go to the Sudan match and see what will happen! You will still say it was only 40 000 people, right??

At the end of KK’s reign in 91 he was pelted with not so sweet oranges at independence stadium in Lusaka. It was terrible that his own people, “employers”, rejected KK like that.
