Sangwa, Mahtani report Ndola judge in charge for being biased

Lusaka lawyer John Sangwa and his clients Rajan Mahtani, one David Kamalarajan Kanaganayagan and Mrs Joan Craven have reported Ndola High court judge in Charge to the judicial complaints Authority.

Sangwa, on his own and behalf of his clients has is accusing Judge Munalula Lisimba of being biased and favouring the Antonio Ventriglia & Manuela Ventriglia in the controversial matters involving Zambezi Portlands.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, Mrs Joan Craven and Mr. David Kamalarajan Kanaganayagan are members of the Board of Directors of Zambezi Portland Cement Limited.

In a complaint copied to the acting Chief Justice, Sangwa and his clients  state that judge Lisimba  Justice Lisimba as Judge in Charge at the Ndola High Court has been allocating to himself most of the cases involving the Ventriglias and or cases in which the Ventriglias have interest either directly or indirectly.

Sanagwa and his clients also complain that Justice Lisimba has been biased in favour of the Plaintiffs in the actual determination of the various applications made by the Ventriglias  or where the  Ventriglias interests are involved.
