Sata’s son beats up journalist
President Michael Sata’s son Kazimu this (Wednesday) morning attacked journalist Thomas Zgambo for no apparent reason.
Kazim who was being driven in a Mistubishi Pajero registration number ALB 9252 spotted Zgambo at a social club in Kabwata and disembarked from the vehicle.
He went straight for Zgambo and hit him with fists in the ribs while shouting ‘iwe Chikala’.
The incident shocked people who were around at a social Club in Kabwata where Zgambo had stopped over to meet friends.
Kazimu who looked high on drugs drunk later on jumped on the Pajero after his body gurads intervened.
Zgambo who seemingly looked calm told Kazim not to behave like the late President Fredrick Chiluba’s son Son Castro.
” Are you another Castro? Zgambo asked. ” Iwe Chikala tukakwipaya” Kazim responded before members of the public including former Zambia’s Ambassador to Lybia Chibesa Mfune intervened.
Zgambo is one of the Zambia’s most wanted journalists by the PF government for unknown reasons. Yesterday he was in court facing charges of possessing pornography. He was arrested last year when the PF tried to link him to the Zambian Watchdog but failed to establish any connection so ended up slapping him with concocted charges of possessing pornography.
When contacted for a comment Zgambo said he will write to Kazim’s father. ” I will write to his Father. Kazim is very stupid. How can he start treating people like that?’ Whatever happens his father will only rule for maximum of ten years thereafter it will be fair play,” he said.
Kazimu is one of Sata’s illegitimate sons from the various women he has used and dumped. On his mother’s side, he is the younger brother to Mulenga Sata, the notoriously corrupt deputy mayor of Lusaka.
On February 2, 2014, Kazimu got married but his father and step-mother Kaseba missed the wedding but all ministers plus Guy Scott were ordered to attend.
Three weeks after Kazimu’s wedding, Sata and his current wife Kaseba flew to Zimbabwe to attend the wedding of Robert Mugabe’s Daughter and Sata was seen all over the place posing for photos with Mugabe’s children. But on his son’s wedding photo album, his father is missing.
