MPs crossing floors are chimbwis looking for faeces, there was no dev in 2012 – Francis Manda

namulambweUrologist  Francis Manda says MP’s resigning from their political parties are behaving like Hyenas searching for faeces.

The outspoken Urologist said it is unacceptable that selfish politicians could be allowed to waste public resources on unnecessary bye elections.

“They are behaving exactly like Hyenas, these are animals that go about looking for faeces. The MP’s ditching their parties are like Hyenas looking for fecal excreta,” Dr. Manda said.

Dr. Manda was speaking Saturday morning during his popular radio show “Manzi Therapy” on ZNBC Radio 4.

He said Zambia is a country with meager resources for development programmes adding that spending huge amounts of money on bye elections which could be avoided is unacceptable.

Dr. Manda supported proposals that the new constitution should include provisions that will enable the party nominate a candidate to see out the remainder of the term in an event that the MP crosses the floor.

“We cannot continue with defections at this rate. We need these constitutional changes in order to protect public funds,” Dr. Manda said.

He also appealed to political parties to exhibit maturity and settle down in 2013.

“We saw a lot of bickering in all parties including the ruling one in 2012. We don’t need such in 2013. These political parties need to learn to resolve issues amicably.”

Dr. Manda said infighting in political parties contributed to the lack of development in 2012.

“We didn’t see any meaningful development in the past year because politicians were busy bickering. Let us start politics in 2016 and not now when Zambians want development.”

  4. all those insulting Dr Manda have small brains. The dr was talking about health issues and understands that if monies were to be served on unnecessary bye elections, maybe we can procure medical equipment at UTH so that we will not have to be evacuating people to South Africa or India including His Excellence himself. We can do it, maybe Dr Manda must also tell us how much medical equipments cost so that we may ascertain how many we can buy by avoiding one bye election. I see alot of sense in Dr Manda’s remarks coz he cares for those who can not afford evacuation like his excellence n his ministers. infact thats why MPs are defecting so that they can receive better medical treatment in an event that they fall ill. Politics aside, Dr Manda deserves a part on the back

  6. BLOGGERS OF THIS SITE AMAZE ME ALOT. WHEN SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THEY ARE SAYING THEY UNLEASH INSULTS ON THAT PERSON. THIS SHOULD GIVE US A PICTURE OF HOW UPND CAN BE IF THEY WERE TO BE VOTED INTO POWER, VERY UNDEMOCRATIC, INSULTING EVERYONE WITH DIVERGENT VIEWS.

    • You are also a blogger on this site and if you did not disclose, no one was going to know that you are not UPND. It goes without saying then that bloggers here are from different political parties. And all things being equal, PF has the most vulgar fellows starting from HEMS, Wynter, those chaps in Kabwata after Given to kaponyas on the streets.

    • I can assure you, if politicians, especially those in power were doing a good job on governance and development, Zambians would find it difficult to express themselves the way they do.

      Trust me on this.

    • Point of Correction. It’s not about being UPND. It’s all about being rational, analytical and sensible. I’m not UPND, neither a cadre of any political party. Yes, I don’t need to insult a fellow blogger to put my point across. But the level of debate of some of the sympathisers or cadres of the ruling party leaves one to wonder why they bury their heads in the sand in the face of a wrong. For instance, why would somebody defy logic by stating that one plus one is equal to three. Randy Sikwela and hungry Namulambe have caused unnecessary by-elections at your expense. Why in the world would anyone defend such rubbish. Hence the insults from other bloggers.

    • but how will people adhere to manzi therapy if they are still poor?how will the poor have food without development?
the doctor is right to talk about this development as that where poor peoples health will come from.

development is synonymous to good health and doctors shud also be concerned of root causes of poor heaith which is underdevelopment.

Well spoken Dr go to filter clinic now today see how patients are being looked after or attended to only if that money for by-elections can be used to buy beds and medicine the CD4 machine is not ever working I had to go buy some medicine to treat a patient I took. That was around 22hrs very painful to believe that this is a government which said no user fee n medicine is available. Dr kasonde do u ever visit your institutions at random or its a thing were you announce you are going their then the clean the place. Don’t let people lose trust in you 2016 is just around the corner. In fact its just may be 18months the rest is rallies. The Dr manda has a point coz he sees wat goes on at UTH n other institution.

  17. Well said Ba Mwizyo. A study on the ecology of the hyenas (bachimbwi) reveals that these animals sustain most of their living by scavenging on what the lions, cheetahs and leopards have left over. But since this source of livelihood is not enough, the hyenas have resorted to feeding on human excreta around villages close to Game Management Areas, thus cleaning up the village environments. The most baffling scenario is that these Ba Chimbwis have no clue on the life-span of their chief provider whose personal Party will certainly end when God recalls him for transfer to Hell.

  18. Fellow Bloggers, just look at the picture and see the happiness on the faces of these foolish politicians. They are happy because the tax payer has to foot another ZMK5bn bill for another by-election. As cadres they are happy because here is another opportunity for them to drink Chibuku and imbesteni senselessly without any recourse to the suffering majority. The happiness they are showing is in sharp contrast with the daily struggles that you and I have to endure in trying to feed our families. These are the lamentations that should over-ride any other excuse that PF cadres can advance as justification for causing a by-election. The people of Mpongwe and Livinstone are better warned to shun these selfish and greedy idiots.

The best thing to do is to put a clause in the constitution that will bar any mp who crosses over to the other party from standing. This whole nonses will come to an end.Where people have no morals, you need very strict rules to govern them. The sebana wikute syndrom has really affected the value and diginit of human beings.Man can do anything without any sense of shame as long as he is promised a piece of bread.

    • They should put a clause in the constitution so that any MP who resigns to join the ruling party like these thugs are doing must cough out 14 billion Kwacha for administration costs purposes. This will not make them celebrate wasting the much needed tax payers money.Alternatively the person who came second in the elections to take over as the new MP.These thick thugs are going to take our economy to the toilet if we are not careful

  20. Namulambe is immature and is exactly what Mpombo said about him. I remember when he was a permanent secretary for NWP he was locked up by a magistrate in one district for contempt of court. He has no attributes of a leader and if he will be in the team of these CNP you will see how stupid the guy can be. During the time of the no nonsense Mwanawasa they looked like they were leaders because they feared for their jobs. Actually more ‘hyenas looking for feacal excreta” are coming on board. Shame
