Bishop Chihana dedicates Psalm to Zambians going through trying times

I have dedicated the following psalms to all Zambians in the country going through trying times, politically, financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically and other pains.

I also call on the Christians in Zambia to pray intensively for the continued peace in Zambia, for the government and its leadership. There is travail in the air but with prayer all things are possible with them that believe.

Psalm 84 vs. 5-7

Blessed is the man whose strength is in you. Whose heart is set on the pilgrimage.

As they pass through the valley of baca- (it’s a place of weeping located in Palestine)(the word means weeping with lamentation). They make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools.

They go from strength to strength; each one appears before god in Zion-

Psalm 83 vs. 1-4

Do not keep silent, o God! Do not hold your peace, and do not be still, o God!

For behold your enemies make tumult – (a disturbing noise coupled with some violence sometimes),

Those who hate you have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against your people,

And consulted together against the sheltered ones.

They have said, come and let us cut them off from being a nation. That the name of Israel be no more.

Psalm 92 vs. 5-7

O Lord, how great are your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this,

When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish.

It is that they may be destroyed forever.

Psalm 126 vs. 5-6

Those who saw in tears shall reap in joy.

He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing

Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him

Psalm 133 vs.

Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head.

Running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron (he was the high priest of Jehovah).

Running down the edge of his garment (his priestly robe.

It is like the dew of Hermon (a mountain overlooking Lebanon, when the freezing night has passes and the slowly the sun begins to show and icily mountain begin to have the dew go down the mountain and the people would enjoy the cool fresh water at the bottom).

Descending upon the mountains of Zion (a place of God where he rules from)

For there he commanded the blessing even life forevermore.

All Christians in Zambia stay united and keep praying. The lord shall help Zambia.

  2. PHIL OR IS IT FAECES OR WHATEVER YOU ARE.
BISHOP CHIHANA IS MY UNCLE AND I PERSONALLY GET AMAZED WHEN I HEAR OR READ THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS TRUE AS PEOPLE PORTRAY THEM TO BE.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA NOT EVEN ONE LITTLE IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MAN HAS ENDURED IN HIS LIFE TO BE WHERE HE IS AND GOD HAS SUSTAINED HIM.
THE BISHOP IN ALL TRUTHFULLNESS AND FAIRNESS HAS HAD A LOT OF PAIN IN HIS PAST MARRIAGE AND IM NOT HERE TO DISCUSS THAT. BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE YOU TRUE CHRISTIANS GIVE MY UNCLE A BREAK, AND YOU WICKED HYPOCRITES GO AND BURY YOURSELVES BY YOUR HEADS AND PRETEND THAT ALL IS WELL IN THIS NATION AND GET YOUR BREAD SILENTLY FROM THE PRESIDENT AND LET MY UNCLE GIVE ENCOURAGEMENT TO THOSE THAT NEED IT.
THE BISHOP IS THE ONLY PASTOR WHO NEVER RECEIVED SLASH FUNDS FROM CHILUBA EVEN IF THE TWO WERE CLOSE BROTHERS.
THE BISHOP REFUSED TO BE SWAYED INTO THE THIRD TERM AND FOUGHT AGAINST IT.
THE PASTOR ALSO CAME INTO DEFENSE FOR CHILUBA WHEN MWANAWASA TROUBLED HIM.
DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT THE BISHOP WAS AMONG THE FIRST VOICES THAT SPOKE AGAINST KAUNDA BEFORE MMD CAME INTO POWER.
ARE YOU AWARE THAT HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MWANAWASA THAT PRESIDENT MWANAWASA EVEN ASKED TO OFFER PRAYERS AT THE AIRPORT AFTER THE FIRST STROKE.
AND LASTLY BUT NOT THE LEAST, HE WAS ALSO VERY CLOSE TO MAZOKA AND WAS HIS NATIONAL CAMPAIGN MANAGER.
TRULY, NONE OF YOU HYPOCRITES CAN MAKE SOME OF THE SACRIFICES THAT THE MAN OF GOD HAS EVER GIVEN.
TO MY UNCLE CHIHANA, PLEASE KNOW THAT WE LOVE YOU AND KEEP THE GIVING DIRECTION TO THIS NATION.

How can Zambia be in peace when there is no Justice? Sata is busy searching for lives to eliminate, he has foolishly steped on the people of NWP, he is silently developing genocide in western Province. Ejima amu hamekang’a Sata wanza wawu, malomu awu.

  10. I know I cant be a judge, but I am wondering why Chihana Simon is called a Bishop. Which denomination is he a Bishop? This man is a hypocrite. He divorced his first wife whom he had born with her 6 or 7 children and married a concubine who had gone out with 3 other men and Simon being the fourth or fifth. I have failed to take advice from him because of his unfaithfulness. He has to clean his house.Simon Chihana your sins will find you out. You are not as proud as you used to be in promoting the word of God because of your immoral behaviour. Changes your ways, change your ways says the prophet lest you miss heaven. It is not the title of Bishop that grantees one’s entrance into heaven, but doing the will of God.

  11. Presidents, laws and power.
All may recall the challenges of minister of health putting a govt cheque in personal account, using 2 billion from parliament by mmd national secretary and later on being detained for car theft. All these issues were put aside and Zambians forgave but still remember. Therefore, for Zambia police to start opening civil servants and political graves in the name of implementing the law is hypocracy. If not, do it for all: from former presidents kk,) up to the current, so be it with wynter kabimba, gbm and masebo. There are diplomats that deputy second to cabinet knows who abused office like chibwa in malaysia. Current ps at foreign affairs destroyed zambian diplomacy by recalling professionals.
The catholic church must wake, so are ngos and well meaning zambians.

  14. Ba Chihana,

You are a big hypocrite. I wish people who are praising your ‘words of wisdom’ knew the truth about just how much of a cheat you really are. Was it not you whom Sata called Pastor of faeces? I must say he was right on the mark. Sort out your own house before you go round pretending to be holier than thou. You are one big S.O.B.

  16. Thanks bishop for this massage.I have one issue i want church bodies want to address.iam a christian and am very concerned about our pastors, revarends, bishop and other church workers.i fill they are not supported much items of want they get.these people pray us and we receive blessings.when the mininmum wage was at K419,000 same men of God were getting K150,000 per month and sometimes nothing. The same salaries sametimes it takes 5 months to from their headquarters.the government particulary the ministry of labour should take step and check on these churches. The condition of service for men of God are miserable. The government ministers go to these churches and do not take interest in asking how the clergymen are living.some men of God when they retire they become as vulnerable people in the community and quickly they die.they can not send their children to school because they have no capacity to do it.i know churches in lusaka, copperbelt they take care of these people but that is care and support, the salary still remains below minimum wages and the retirement package will depend on the salary. In rural areas life is hard for the pastors and reverends.Ihave seen some of these men are very educated. The honourable Minister of labour you are a very committed man of God and i respect you very much and kindly help these men of GOD because they also want to live a decent life with their families.
God bless zambia and men of God

  17. The biggest mistake we seem to make when it comes to choosing our leaders is that we do not seek the wisdom of God to help us choose people specifically hand picked by God Himself but rather we choose them through our own human wisdom which in most cases if not all lets us down. We saw our deliverance to come through a man and not through God. We gave man so much credit and glory than God. We placed all our hope in man and not in God and we got what we deserve. If indeed ours is a christian nation, then our hope and trust ought to be in God and not in man for “blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”

You are just petty and full of bitterness for nothing, leave our Bishop ALONE in case you think you are the one who knows alone, you are WRONG AND INFACT some of us are close to him. HE IS DEFINITELY A MAN OF GREAT INTERGRITY.
BISHOP ORGANISE A PRAYER RALLY AT WOODLANDS STADIUM. WE SHALL COME PRAYING AND FASTING and dont worry about people like Tembo for such have bigger personal problems.

  26. Bishop, unfortunately the power of EVIL in our Country is over-powering the FAITH of the few prayerful Zambians. Genuine Christians are so hard to come by in Zambia. Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us that not everyone who shouts “Lord, Lord” shall enter the Kingdom of God. Look at the fake Reverends like Sikwela. And only this morning I heard the ZEC President expressing worry at the ritual killings going in Zambia. Why is he only worried about that? What about Social, Political and economic injustices being perpetrated by the PF govt? Doesn’t the Catholic Church think that these injustices also deserve condemnation?
