  1. Those of us in PF and serving in govt should learn from what has befallen Gen Shikapwasha and others today. If we are being used by the top post politicians today for the sake of political expedience, just know that those protecting us today will not be there in future. You can now see that RB is not there now to protect Shikapwasha and others. A precedent has been set that as soon as one leaves the political office, the next office will be the police cells and prisons.Anyway, they say wise people learn from other peoples’mistakes;but fools learn from their own mistakes.I rest my case.

  8. This is a pure infringement of the very base of our human respect. M’membe is a convict, convicted by the courts and sentenced to serve a prison term. He is out on bail pending appeal determination. Isn’t he supposed to be restrained from publishing in his devious tabloid? Considering that it was the vice of his crime? There’s serious misery in Zambia!

  11. This Sata and his pf party and government are now showing their true colors of not only being witches and wizards but as vampires. Leaders ought to have large hearts and the way the pf and its police are doing it will boomerang in their faces soon. The 3 did nothing wrong to deserve to be arrested, in comparison to waht the serpent sata and his winter, GBM, Masebo and the like in their rank and file are doing. We ‘re tired of these pf persecutions on inocent Zambians. One day soon Zambians will rebel and take to the streets and sata won’t contain their furry.

  13. Those of you that are supporting this nonsense, can you tell me who called Sata the ‘UKWA’ of Zambia if not Fred Meembe and the Post? Chanda Chiimba was merely quoting what had already been said by the Post. Sata was even quoted saying ‘ if anything there are more minions at the Post’. So why should Chanda Chiimba be arrested while Fred Meembe remains free? Isn’t this just a matter of SCORES TO SETTLE?

  17. I remember very well during a phoning in programme on radio 2 on which Sata was on air sometime in 2000 (then I was 17 years old) when Mr. Mwananjiti called but refused to identify himself by name and Sata was able to recognise tmwananjiti’s voice and challenged him to come in the open and mention his name. I was able to tell from Sata’s comments that came forth that the 2 were in bad books. I am not suprised at this at all.

Good that there are other regular listeners to phoning in programs and Iam one of them and we still remember what the politicians may have said and forgotten about.Even God will judge us out of what we say now and forget about.

  18. Imwe bantu George Mpombo is DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER to Nigeria and NOT a full High Commissioner .He is NOT an Ambassodor perse. For your own information any country that was colonised by the British,we have HIGH COMMISSIONERS and not AMBASSODORS.Then those countries that were under other colonial masters such as France,Italy,Belgium,Portugal,Germany etc we have Ambassodors as our representatives in those foreign countries. In short in most commonwealth countries we have High Commissioners.I rest my case.

Chanda Chiimba was not a prophet of doom but factual issues. All he did was to retrieve documentaries from various sources based on facts and feed the Nation. He never authored, short any deceptive videos. Those ZNBC Vidoes on Mwanawasa attacks about “Malende ukupona ne minkonono” were short during the campaigns long before stand up for zambia.Chanda Chiimba simply justified the attacks, hooligainism in Chawama sata pepetrated both unger MMD,UNIP and opposition.Viva chanda .what you sensitised us is nothing but manifestation of worse things yet to come.

  46. Prior to last American presidential elections – here in the US, books were written about the sitting president – Barack Obama, about how bad his governance was and how he (the black guy) could not be trusted with power and that he was an amateur in White House. The books were even sold on the election day in book shops. I am talking about a sitting president not an opposition leader who had lost 3 elections. But the men and women who wrote books and place damaging adverts on TV are still free citizens of America. They are luck they were in Zambia writing about a presidential hopeful. Not taking vengeance or pursuing those who ill treat you is what earned Mandala Great Statesman Status. The man dined and ate with the people who oppressed him. Sata is ill advised and is loosing an opportunity to be remember positively.
