Ndola based doc jumps to his death

A medical doctor in Ndola has allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from the Zambia State Insurance Corporation (ZSIC) owned Premium plaza in Kansenshi residential area.

Copperbelt Province Police Commissioner Mary Tembo confirmed the incidence.

She said the incidence happened last night at about 19.30 hours when the deceased whom she identified as Dr Kanyanta Kapapa aged 28 years jumped off from the 5th floor of for unknown reasons.

Ms Tembo said the deceased who lived on the fifth floor in flat number 24 did not leave any suicide note or say anything. Police suspect no foul play.

She said the young sister Muma Kapapa who was present at the time tried in vain to restrain her  from jumping off the flat.

Ms Tembo said it was at that the time when he jumped off that he was quickly rushed to the hospital by neighbours where he later died.

And Ndola Central Hospital Public Relations Officer Shawna Chilimba confirmed the incidence saying the doctor was brought in at around 20,00 hours and was immediately rushed to the intensive care unit. She said the doctor later died at around 22.00 hours.

  2. Suicide is not a solution we should learn to look to Christ for help coz what ever you are going through Christ have gone through it and has overcome it. He is our law moledo ,our strength ,comforter ,protector and our guide. Come those who have heavy baiden ,cast them on me is what Christ have said and not guide which was initiated by Judas and selling Christ

  4. Yes suicide is mind bogling to many but just ask your shy soft spoken withdrawn child or spouse how many times he or she had contempleted suicide and you will scream’chineke’.Anyone remembers how Gary speed the team manager of Welsh team died?blame it on the evil spirit or Hiv or whatever you may think of but depression is out there and victims whether successful, handsome or rich have to contend with suicidal thoughts every time.i really mourn this guy and condolences to his family.its sad to say that this guy’s behaviour was evident and he needed help.i urge people to goggle major depression in order to understand what makes such horrific incidences happen.may his soul rest in peace.

Depressed or not, we are all responsible for our own actions. You don’t do something because a person did something to you! You have the right to do what is right!

      • Likman666 God has the power to do everything, but he has also given man power to make choices and every bad choice man makes, God will not be held responsible, the bible says choose ye therefore whom you shall serve,is it God, the devil or yourself its really up to you. God will respect your choice he wont force you to do anything against your will. There are also consequences for every choice we make, you choose God you go to heaven and you choose the devil or yourself/the world you go to hell. We all have challenges/problems/tribulations of various kinds whether rich or poor, literate/illiterate, the pains we all go through are almost equivalent, for us who are Christians God gives the grace to endure and overcome. Believe in Jesus Christ my bro you will never be disapointed
