  8. FYI…….

Kenyan Ministers are no longer politically appointed but are recruited through a competitive process. I actually saw the adverts!!!!!

That’s what we need in Africa.

  12. I think Uhuru Kenyata has set a very good precedent. The ministries appear very important and cover all the important aspects needed in running government and the country. Coming home, it is a shame. Politics of appeasement will not take us anywhere; instead they are a drain on our meagre resources. Just this week on Tuesday, CFAO delivered over 20 Nissan Navaras to the government. I presume they were bought for District Commissioners and the numerous deputy ministers we have who are employed without any job descriptions. Please, lets stop jocking and be serious for once. This country will never develop if we keep tolerating this nonsensical leadership. We are responsible for our actions and hence the need for us to focus on what we want and choose appropriate people to lead us. The PF, it appears has failed us lamentably. We must look for another alternative to move us foreward. Imagine one ministry with 3 deputy ministers; is this normal? We have to do something and fast or else it will be too late. Remeber, we are all responsible for what is going on in our country today and therefore we have a duty to make corrections.

  23. The ones that do the real work are civil servants and NEVER Ministers and their Deputies. Politicians are just suckers therefore, any country can run with such a lean cabinet as Uhuru’s. It will take a miracle though for us to reach this level hence the self consolation of PF supporters. Ask yourselves why when parliament is in recess(dissolved), govt continues to function! We don’t need the dinosaurs and dead wood that Sata is appointing.
