  5. there is no seed maize in most of southern province. no fertlizer, and yet the rain seaon has started. we headed into december and there is no seed maize.

b ut in kasama, there is plenty of seed maize and fertilizer. people are buying from there and semding it southwards.

youv take fertlizer to people who are lazy at farming, and seed maize, leaving out the provinces that feed zambia.

next year will be very tough my friends, very tough indeed.

  10. Its good when problems affect those who created them. Lusaka-increased load shedding, water supply erratic, copper belt-mealie meal shortage, kasama-mealie meal shortage, Mpika-fuel shortage, Mungu central-BRE fiasco, Mwense-no agric inputs, catholics-deportation, etc. God, please shower them with more torments. If you tormented Job your loyal servant, why spare these who refused to listen to the voice of reason? Let’s see how they are now going to sing “don’t kubeba wilalila ashiiiiii” with a starving mouth

  14. Whatever some of you people might say it is now beyond doubt that RB is a million times bettter than Mr Sata in terms of running the affairs of this country.RB took over the country when there was the world economic crisis but he managed the country so well that these stories of shortages of essential commodities were not heard. There is something terribly wrong with the PF government which needs to be addressed urgently in one way or another. We can not afford to let our beloved country go to the drain with our eyes wide open. The incompetence being exibited by the PF government is unaceptable. They have all the money and the resources at their disposal, not only that MMD handed over a health economy but it is mercilessly being mismanaged and plundered.Zambians we should not allow this to continue.

  16. There is no need to insult a particular tribe here…..NOT all Bembas are of small brains. This is what is going to make some tribes not to ever rule this country because Bembas will always be scared to elect any other tribe the devi you know is better than the angel you don’t know

  20. RB was undoubtedly an unfit president ,but all his errors seem minimal when we begin to compare them to those of Sata. Defending him even when he is clearly wrong is what will lead us further down the road from which we can never recover

  21. I feel sorry for many Zambians and what they are going through. It is sad that they hoped that a new government would bring changes but has ended up raping their economy and behaving like monkeys in a maize field. I am really very disappointed and this will make Chiluba look like a small boy in stealing public funds.

  22. Since this baboon called Mwansa arrived on this scenery, the amount of defaecation it has dumped is monumental. Everywhere you step is full of its stinking Kolwestan excrement, it’s most nauseous and vile to the fabric of breathing. I hope it quits this scene before someone spears it, let it leg it fast back to it’s toxic origins of Ituri or Katanga jungle, fast! We proper upright humans have standards by which to judge our rulers and Sata has miserably failed. They can take him with them back to Ituri, damn!

    Ngai - November 29, 2012

    • I think you are mistaking me with your man GBM or else you are living in a parallel universe. In the real world, there was no mealie meal shortages under RB, we had a cabinet that was representative of the Zambian population, inflation was going down, had unprecedented levels of FDI and opposition parties were allowed to hold rallies. Now if you would rather live in the current sad state of affairs that is Zambia under Ukwa’s misrule, then am afraid there is nothing that I can do about your obvious madness or perhaps your myopic, skewed and biased view of the world can only be explained by the fact that you are a Bemba and therefore genetically bereft of the ability to think rationally and analytically.

      Lyelela Lyambai - November 29, 2012

    • How can you even mention corruption in relation to RB when the man left ample reserves that are being squandered by your ‘man of action’ on God knows what as the only action he know is trying get a leg over Suba. His wife is gobbling up 1.5 billion unconstitutionally but because he is Bemba then it is not corruption? Nepotism in case you dont know is also a form of corruption as is creating districts that only exist on paper without adhering to the laws of the country that he is currently misruling. Am sure that if the old relic survives past his tenure in office, the list of his corrupt practices will be as long as his arm whilst RB will be continue gaining even more accolades than the ones he already has.

  29. Fred Mmembe can you help your st michael provide basic necessities please. There is nothing to be proud of as being a Zambian. Was that man sent by lucifer to be president so that he destroys our economy? God of mercy, please hear the cries of your children in the wilderness. Rescue us so that we cross the river Jordan
The man is a total failure. You see, he had built his name as a man of action for most of his life. In the evening of his, he cheats all of us that since he was a man of action, we vote for him. Little did he know that ka last kamaletelela. He has destroyed his name, ma rubbish ya muntu

    • I thought he said that he would turn this god forsaken place into another Chipata? He failed to see that Chipata developed because of economic circumstances such as farming and tourism as well as benefiting from its close proximity to Lilongwe – it was not because as he was alleging, due to RB’s bestowing favours on the town. Now this man cant even look after his own home, what more with Shang’ombo?
