Photo of the Day: MMD supporters paraded as terrorists

All the people who were arrested by police during the bye-elections last week were members of the opposition.

Here (in the photo)  police in Mufumbwe seen parading MMD supporters as terrorists and machete-wielding militia.

We ask ourselves, when did the PF, headed by thugs become the movement of the Nelson Mandelas and Mahatma Gandhis? How possible is that only the opposition were involved in violence  What about the opposition members who were battered by president Sata’s personal hooligan judge Ngoma, why don’t we see his photos at the station?

  24. Solomon Jere is now a faint shadow of his glory days. In other criminal cases, even with confessions, the police refer to detainees and fugitives as suspects. But yesterday the once saintly Solomon Jere looked into TV cameras to declare that the murder in Rufunsa was committed by opposition. The list of good guys being spoiled by appointments by this government is growing rapidly.

  27. Sata’s misbehaving through his Zambia Police is well documented for the Hague. there are many examples for sata if he chooses to see, men before him like Laurent Gbagbo of ivory coast were charged with cases for which he wasn’t the perpetrator of Violence but because he was the leader of the group that caused the violence. Sata i don’t like you as a Human Being but for your own good please grow up from these Dictatorial Tendencies these no need to be insecure you are president for the next 4 years or so. that Dr kaseba and Inutu Suba will remarry once you are in the Hague.

  29. I think we would have a strong case against the PF PARTY and members such as Silvia and other cardres.

    CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

For planning, arming, orchestrating, funding and inciting PF cadres and other persons to commit crimes against defenseless Zambians.

Thereby endangering peace and stability of the country.

    How are they doing it?

    1.Funding-Paying the cadres money,transporting them,feeding them.
2.Encouraging them to carry Machetes, bags full of stones and other traditional weapons.
    3.Providing pistols to the cadres.
4.Priming and psyching them,pre-meditated,assault on civilians.

Against the laws of Zambia. We Just need a set of good lawyers and journalists to collect the evidence.Their day of reckoning will come.

  32. Zambia is becoming a Police State.Ruled by small men who afraid of their own shadows or perhaps it is their inferiority complex that is causing a crisis of conscious.

They are unleashing naked brutal force on their own people .Why? Because they are afraid of their own demons. Corrupt men, with little or no morals.Lack leadership qualities , resort to tribal politics and concentrate power in family members.

Instead of creating strong independent democratic institutions they are politicizing and PFnizing the Police,Judicial and Institutions that are there to guarantee the democracy.

The Police are now waiting for instructions from the real HQ State House. It appears even Parliament is also looking suspect.

Anyway why am i stressing myself with this country?I should just become an international global citizen and make a lot of money for my children and leave these morally bankrupt and corrupt leaders to destroy the very same people who elected them.

  33. Too many unanswered questions.
As Zambians let us cherish the truth at all times. Proverbs 14:23 “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.Proverbs 20:28 “Mercy and truth preserve the King….”,12:17-19.
There is a battle going on in our atmosphere between two opposing sides which every individual is involved knowingly or not. Two contending powers are battling over the souls of men. God’s power vs Satan’s power. Their weapons-God uses love, truth and mercy. On the other hand Satan uses- hatred, lies and force. The small conflicts of life reveals a larger battle and the side we support. Read Revelation 12:1-17.
